UNRWA staff member displaced 19 times in Gaza
New York, August 28 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) reported that bombings and evacuation orders in Gaza have repeatedly forced civilians to leave their homes. One of the agency’s staff members has been displaced 19 times since the beginning of the war.
UNRWA highlighted the impact of ongoing attacks and forced evacuations on civilians in Gaza.
In its statement, the agency said that one UNRWA staff member had been forced to relocate 19 times since the war began.
The statement added: “Ongoing bombardments and evacuation orders are once again forcing families to abandon their homes in fear and destruction. People are hungry, exhausted and worn out. This must end.”
UNRWA reminded that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is worsening day by day and that the need for safe shelter and food has become urgent.
