Metsola: Russian strike targeted the EU office in Kyiv
Strasbourg, August 28 (Hibya) – European Parliament President Roberta Metsola announced that Russia targeted the European Union (EU) Delegation office in Kyiv.
European Parliament President Roberta Metsola made a statement regarding the attack on the EU Delegation staff in Kyiv.
In a statement on her social media account, Metsola wrote: “The staff of the EU Delegation in Ukraine are the EU’s local voice in the country. Last night, their offices became the target of another senseless and indiscriminate Russian attack.”
Metsola emphasized that her thoughts are with the EU team in Kyiv and with the people of Ukraine, adding: “The brave people of Ukraine deserve to live in peace.”
