Rubio: The U.S. supports the E3’s decision
Washington, August 28 (Hibya) - U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the E3, composed of France, Germany, and the United Kingdom, has launched a process to reimpose UN sanctions on Iran, and that the United States supports the E3’s decision.
Secretary of State Rubio stated that the E3, composed of France, Germany, and the United Kingdom, had initiated a process to reimpose UN sanctions on Iran.
Highlighting that the restored sanctions are a direct response to Iran’s continued violations of its nuclear commitments, Rubio said: “The United States supports the E3’s decision and calls on Iran to engage in serious diplomatic negotiations to resolve the nuclear issue.”
