Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said that he hosted Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan in Rome and strengthened cooperation.

Tajani emphasized that Saudi Arabia is an important regional actor for Italy and has been included in the Export Plan, adding:

“Our companies are ready to share their expertise and contribute to the implementation of Saudi Vision 2030. We also adopted a joint statement on Gaza calling for the immediate release of hostages and access to humanitarian aid. We condemn any unilateral action that could undermine the two-state solution in the West Bank. Let us work together to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East.”
