Lahbib: EU Delegation in Kyiv suffered severe damage
Brussels, August 28 (Hibya) - European Commission Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib announced that the European Union (EU) office in Kyiv suffered serious damage after a Russian missile struck a nearby building.
European Commission Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib stated that the EU Delegation in Kyiv was damaged as a result of the Russian attack.
Lahbib wrote on social media: "Our EU Delegation in Kyiv suffered severe damage this morning when a Russian missile hit a neighboring building. The explosion shattered windows and collapsed the ceiling. All our staff are safe. This attack is another reminder of the brutal reality that Ukrainians face every day. Russia's war continues to rain terror on civilians and infrastructure, disregarding humanity and international law."
Lahbib emphasized that staff are safe and accused Russia of disregarding international law and humanitarian values.
