Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The decision, which has been under consideration for months, is likely to trigger the worst crisis in Iran’s relations with the West since Israel’s attacks on the country’s nuclear facilities in June. Iran is already preparing countermeasures.

The planned reimposition of sanctions contained in six suspended UN resolutions is set to begin on October 18, the date when the original 2015 nuclear deal expires.

This move by the three European powers, known as the E3, cannot be vetoed by permanent members of the UN Security Council such as Russia and China.

The E3 is demanding that Iran fully readmit inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Europe also wants details on what happened to Iran’s estimated 400 kg stockpile of highly enriched uranium following Israel’s attacks in June.

On Wednesday, the approval of the partial return of IAEA inspectors was protested by officials in Tehran, who claimed it violated the strict preconditions they had set.
