Tsahkna: We must stand on the side of freedom and justice
Tallinn, August 28 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna met with a US Senate delegation and paid tribute at the Memorial to the Victims of Communism. Tsahkna highlighted the close partnership between Estonia and the United States.
Estonian Foreign Minister Tsahkna said he was honored to meet in Estonia with a delegation of US senators led by Senate Majority Leader John Thune. The minister emphasized that the presence of the delegation is strong proof of the close partnership and unwavering alliance commitment between Estonia and the United States.
After the meeting, Tsahkna and the delegation paid tribute at the Memorial to the Victims of Communism.
Tsahkna said: “The monument reminds us that we must always stand on the side of freedom, justice, and every nation’s right to choose its own path.”
