World’s first pandemic agreement adopted
Geneva, May 20 (Hibya) – Member states of the World Health Organization (WHO) unanimously adopted the first Global Pandemic Agreement.
Geneva – During the 78th World Health Assembly (#WHA78), WHO member states unanimously approved the first Global Pandemic Agreement, aiming to build a fairer and safer world against future pandemics.
In a statement, the WHO emphasized that this decision marks a historic turning point in strengthening global solidarity and preparedness in the fight against pandemics.
