European Union decides to lift economic sanctions on Syria
Brussels, May 20 (Hibya) – European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas announced that the EU has decided to lift economic sanctions on Syria.
EU High Representative and Vice-President of the Commission Kaja Kallas stated that the European Union has made the decision to lift economic sanctions imposed on Syria.
Kallas said, “We want to help the Syrian people rebuild an inclusive and peaceful new Syria. The EU has stood by the Syrians for the past 14 years and will continue to do so.”
