Palestinian Cabinet convenes in Bethlehem
Bethlehem, May 20 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Cabinet convened under the leadership of Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Mustafa.
During the cabinet meeting, Palestinian Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mustafa stated: “The Palestinian leadership, under President Mahmoud Abbas, is working diligently to overcome this serious crisis in a manner that serves the higher national interests of our people.”
Mustafa emphasized that the destructive policies and practices pursued by the Israeli occupation are primarily aimed at undermining the Palestinian national project and preventing the establishment of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, affirming their determination to jointly resist such efforts.
The Cabinet instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates to intensify international engagement to expose violations committed by Israeli occupation forces and settlers.
