Lahbib: The safety of humanitarian workers is our responsibility
Brussels, May 20 (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, met with humanitarian aid workers.
Following her meeting with humanitarian workers, Commissioner Lahbib stated that their experiences once again demonstrate why the EU firmly supports the "Protect Humanitarian Workers" initiative.
Emphasizing the importance of hearing the voices of aid workers, Lahbib said, “Thank you to Parasto, Joya, Fadhel, and Olivier for sharing your stories so sincerely. Meeting you — the survivors and those working in the field — reminded us once again why we support this initiative.”
