Zelensky stated that diplomacy is currently in crisis, saying: "There is only one clear reason for this: Putin has openly rejected all peace initiatives. Together, we must continue to encourage President Trump to use his real influence to compel Putin to end this war. It was the United States and President Trump who proposed the ceasefire, the resumption of diplomacy, immediate meetings, and negotiations. However, Russia obstructed every one of these efforts."
