Eurozone Member States' Decision on "Bulgaria"
Brussels, June 19 (Hibya) – The Council of the European Union announced that eurozone member states have agreed that Bulgaria has met the necessary economic conditions to join the eurozone.
The Council of the EU stated that eurozone countries have agreed that Bulgaria has fulfilled the economic criteria for accession.
The statement also recommended that Bulgaria officially adopt the euro on January 1, 2026.
