Sybiha: Putin is trying to save Iran’s weapons production capacity
Kyiv, June 19 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is trying to save Iran’s nuclear weapons production capacity by portraying himself as a “mediator.”
Minister Sybiha stated that Putin is posing as a “mediator” while actually attempting to preserve Iran’s capacity to produce nuclear weapons.
He noted that while Russia condemns attacks in the Middle East, it continues to attack Ukraine: “Putin refuses to end his own war, yet appears to offer services to end a war in the Middle East.”
Sybiha added, “The only rational conclusion is that Russia cannot be trusted under any circumstances – it is part of the problem, not the solution.”
