New Zealand Prime Minister Luxon Meets with Chinese President Xi
Wellington, June 20 (Hibya) – New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon met with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
Following the meeting, Luxon posted on social media that the talks were "constructive." He said they discussed the depth of the relationship between the two countries, adding, "We talked about many topics—from trade and people-to-people ties to sharing our global responsibilities."
Luxon emphasized that the world is going through a complex period globally and stressed that open dialogue is more important than ever in this context.
