New York, June 20 (Hibya) – United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Executive Director Catherine Russell issued a message on the occasion of World Refugee Day.
UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell said, “Every child has the right to grow up safely, free from war and violence.”
Russell emphasized that World Refugee Day reminds us that refugee children are, above all, children — and that they need protection, education, and hope.
