Zelensky: Full implementation of the Washington agreements is our priority
Kyiv, August 27 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he signed a decree appointing Olha Stefanishyna as the new U.S. Ambassador. Zelensky emphasized that fully implementing the agreements made with U.S. President Donald Trump in the field of defense is a priority.

Zelensky stated that official procedures have been completed and announced that he signed the decree of appointment today.
He highlighted the importance of the agreements reached during talks in Washington, stressing that they must be fully implemented, particularly in the field of defense, under the agreements with U.S. President Donald Trump.
Zelensky said: “A large part of Ukraine’s long-term security depends on relations with America,” pointing to the arms deal for Ukraine and the modern drone deal for the United States.
The Ukrainian President also expressed expectations for swift progress in these areas.
