UK Prime Minister Starmer: We are establishing a National Housing Bank
London, June 18 (Hibya) – UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced the establishment of a National Housing Bank to address the growing housing crisis in the country.
Starmer stated that this step aims to help hundreds of thousands of people become homeowners. He noted that homeownership used to be an achievable dream for families, but today it is becoming increasingly out of reach for many.
Through the new bank, billions of pounds in funding are planned for the construction of more than half a million homes.
Prime Minister Starmer emphasized that the project aims to provide more people with access to safe and sustainable living spaces.
