Prime Minister Luxon: Tourism strengthens New Zealand's economy
Wellington, June 18 (Hibya) – New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon visited the headquarters of Trip.com in Shanghai, China.
During the visit, Prime Minister Luxon highlighted the positive impact of tourism on the national economy.
He stated that the growing number of tourists means more spending at local businesses, economic growth, more employment, and higher wages for workers.
As part of the visit, New Zealand’s features as a globally preferred travel destination were promoted. Luxon emphasized the strategic importance of tourism for the country's economy.
