President Erdoğan spoke with NATO Secretary General Rutte
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte had a phone call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan while returning from the summit with the President of the United States and EU leaders.
During the call, the latest developments in the peace process between Ukraine and Russia were discussed.
President Erdoğan and the NATO Secretary General emphasized Turkey’s important role in the Ukraine peace process and in the security of the Black Sea.
President Erdoğan and Secretary General Rutte agreed on Turkey’s contribution, as one of the most important NATO countries, to the peace process and on close coordination.
Erdoğan and Rutte also exchanged views on applicable and sustainable security guarantees.
