Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Aid cannot coexist with oppression
Ramallah, June 18 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Foreign Ministry stated that humanitarian aid cannot coexist with genocide, in reference to the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
In its statement, the ministry issued an urgent call to the international community and human rights organizations.
The ministry stressed that the war in Gaza must end immediately and called on the United Nations and all international actors to fulfill their humanitarian obligations under international law.
The statement also emphasized that Israel, as an “illegal occupying power,” must be held accountable for using hunger and human suffering as a weapon of war.
The Palestinian authorities demanded immediate and concrete steps to ensure full and impartial access to humanitarian aid.
