Metsola discussed cooperation with the UK at the G7 Speakers Summit
Brussels, September 6 (Hibya) - European Parliament President Roberta Metsola met with the Speaker of the UK House of Commons, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, during the G7 Speakers' Summit held in Ottawa, Canada.
During the meeting, the strategic partnership between the European Union and the United Kingdom, strengthening cooperation between the European Parliament and the House of Commons, and joint support for Ukraine were discussed.
In her statement, President Metsola said, "This is a friendship we will continue to grow," emphasizing that relations between the two sides will be further deepened.
