Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni reacted to the attacks on security forces during the evacuation of a building illegally occupied in Milan. Meloni stated that during the protests, police teams were attacked with eggs, explosives, and insults and expressed full support for the security forces.

Meloni said, "We are with all our security forces, men and women. We will continue to move forward with our heads held high to ensure law and security in every corner."

She also emphasized that insults against Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi are unacceptable, adding: "We reiterate our support for the Minister. Our fight against the illegal areas that have been ignored for years will continue with determination."
