77th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations Between Israel and Paraguay Celebrated
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar issued a congratulatory message on the 77th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Israel and Paraguay.
In his message, Saar thanked Paraguay, one of the first countries to recognize Israel in 1948, and emphasized that the friendly relations between the two countries are based on a long history. Saar said, "On behalf of Israel, I extend my sincere thanks to the President of Paraguay, Santiago Peña, his government, and his people."
Saar noted in his message that Israel and Paraguay are connected by common bonds based on democratic values and expressed hopes that future cooperation and friendship between the two countries would deepen.
Saar concluded his message with the words, "Long live Israel, long live Paraguay!"
