German Chancellor Merz: We’re accelerating housing construction and keeping our promises
Berlin, June 18 (Hibya) – German Chancellor Friedrich Merz drew attention to the growing need for housing in the country, emphasizing the need to speed up construction processes to make homes more affordable.
Merz stated that current housing construction processes are costly, overly complex, and take too long. He said that with the launch of the “Housing Construction Turbo” program to address these issues, the commitments in the coalition protocol are being fulfilled.
The new program aims to promote the production of affordable housing and offer a solution to the citizens’ housing problem.
