German Chancellor Merz: We will continue our military support to Ukraine
Berlin, June 18 (Hibya) – German Chancellor Friedrich Merz met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during the G7 Summit.
Following the meeting, Merz stated that Germany would continue its military support for Ukraine.
He described the images of Russia’s heavy attacks as horrifying and emphasized the solidarity of the German people with the Ukrainian people. Merz added that Germany would continue working to increase pressure on Russia, stating, “This war must end.”
