German Chancellor Merz: We will continue our military support to Ukraine
Berlin, June 18 (Hibya) – German Chancellor Friedrich Merz met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during the G7 Summit.
Following the meeting, Chancellor Merz stated that Germany will continue its military support for Ukraine.
He described the images of Russia’s intense attacks as horrifying and emphasized the German people's solidarity with the Ukrainian people. Merz added that Germany would continue efforts to increase pressure on Russia, stating, “This war must end.”
