Carney expressed his pleasure with the United States' openness to support efforts to secure long-term peace and security in Ukraine and Europe, stating:
"I also confirmed Canada's unwavering commitment to the Coalition and our willingness to provide direct and scalable military assistance to support a ceasefire and lasting peace for Ukraine."
