Zelensky announced that rescue teams are currently working in Volochysk, Khmelnytsky region, where the Russians hit an ordinary sewing workshop with a missile.

He reported that 3 people have been injured in the attack so far. Zelensky said: “This is just one example of today’s massive Russian attack: about 415 different types of UAVs and more than 40 cruise and ballistic missiles were used. Fifteen of our regions were under attack. Unfortunately, one person was killed in the bombardment in Zhytomyr region. I extend my condolences to his family and loved ones.”

Zelensky stressed that Moscow always pushes the limits of what is possible and, when not met with a strong response, it remains at a new escalation level.

He also noted that the pause in sanctions has lasted far too long:

“Postponing restrictions against Russia and its accomplices only increases the brutality of the attacks. Sufficient weapons are needed to deter Russia. A strong response is essential – and this response can only be a joint one by all partners: Ukraine, Poland, all Europeans and the United States. I thank everyone who helps.”
