Qatar sends message to Guterres and the Security Council
New York, September 10 (Hibya) – Qatar sent a message to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the Security Council regarding Israel’s attack on Doha.
According to a statement from the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State of Qatar sent a message to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the Chargé d’Affaires of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the UN and President of the Security Council for September, Sangjin Kim, regarding the Israeli attack on residences in Doha where some members of Hamas’ Political Bureau lived.
The message was delivered by Qatar’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani.
The State of Qatar requested that the message be distributed to the members of the Security Council and published as an official document of the Council.
In the message, the State of Qatar strongly condemned the attack, describing it as a blatant violation of all international laws and norms and a serious threat to the security and safety of Qataris and residents on its territory.
