Rome, September 10 (Hibya) – Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced that she had a phone call with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said that she had a phone conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Meloni emphasized that during the call both sides expressed satisfaction with the excellent state of bilateral relations and confirmed their shared determination to further deepen the Italy–India Strategic Action Plan 2025–2029.
She added: “In this context, we will focus on strengthening cooperation in trade, investment and connectivity, including the India–Middle East–Europe Corridor (IMEC).”
