Zelensky: Ukraine provided the necessary assistance to Poland in the intervention
Kyiv, September 10 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the Ukrainian army monitored the movement of Russian drones towards the Polish border.
President Zelensky noted that the Ukrainian army tracked the movement of Russian drones towards the Polish border, stressing that this was not an accident or a mistake but a deliberate action.
He reported that Russia used both Ukrainian and Belarusian territory to enter Polish airspace, and that around two dozen drones entered Poland.
Zelensky said:
"This was a calculated Russian activity. And we all saw its consequences and how difficult it was to counter.
Ukraine provided the necessary assistance to Poland in the intervention. While there were already dozens of drones, no one can guarantee there won’t be hundreds. Only united European forces can provide real protection."
