Zelensky meets with WFP Executive Director Cindy McCain
Kyiv, June 20 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with World Food Programme (WFP) Executive Director Cindy McCain.
Zelensky thanked McCain for her continued attention to his country and people. He recalled that her late husband, Senator John McCain, had also visited Ukraine multiple times and supported Ukrainians.
During the meeting, the announcement of continued WFP support was considered an important development. Zelensky stated that a significant part of this support is being directed toward shelters, school meals, and transportation services for children.
