Tajani: Relations between Italy and Bulgaria are already very strong
Brussels, May 11 (Hibya) - Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani met with Bulgaria’s new Foreign Minister Velislava Petrova-Camova in Brussels to discuss strategic cooperation and regional projects between the two countries.

Providing information about the scope of the meeting, Tajani said: “Relations between Italy and Bulgaria are already very strong, and we want to strengthen our competitiveness and efficiency together within Europe and respond to migration challenges.”
Noting that regional and global issues were also discussed, Tajani stated: “With Minister Petrova, we discussed Hormuz and enlargement toward the Balkans.”
Referring to goals regarding economic cooperation and connectivity routes, Tajani said: “We want to continue working with the Sofia Government on the connectivity infrastructure of Corridor 8 and IMEC in order to increase export opportunities for our companies.”
