Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani met in Rome with the delegation of the Italy-Germany Friendship Group in the German Bundestag. During the meeting, the strategic partnership between the two countries, European security, and economic cooperation were discussed.

Antonio Tajani met with the delegation of the Italy-Germany Friendship Group within the Bundestag at the Farnesina in Rome.

Tajani thanked the German lawmakers for their support in strengthening relations between the two countries.

In his statement, Tajani said that amid increasing geopolitical developments globally, the strategic partnership between Italy and Germany plays an important role at both the European and international levels. He added that the two countries are working together on strengthening transatlantic relations, the enlargement process of the Western Balkans, and supporting stability in the Middle East.
