Qatar reacts to Al-Aqsa Mosque raid
Doha, May 13 (Hibya) - Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the raid on Al-Aqsa Mosque carried out by a minister from the Israeli government together with settlers. The statement described the incident as a violation of international law and called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities.

In a statement, the ministry said that the act constituted a clear violation of international humanitarian law and provoked the feelings of Muslims around the world.
Qatar stated that it firmly rejects the continuation of such provocative raids and attempts to undermine the religious and historical status of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The statement called on the international community to fulfill its moral and legal responsibilities in the face of violations targeting occupied Jerusalem and holy sites.
Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs also reiterated its continued support for the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people, including the right of Palestinians to freely practice their religious worship and to establish an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital within the 1967 borders.
