Listening to the views and suggestions of young people on climate change and melting glaciers, Russell emphasized that children in this region are uniquely affected by the climate crisis.
In her statement, she stressed the need for stronger climate financing and concrete actions to protect children, and stated that the voices of youth must be heard in the fight against the climate crisis.
