Moscow, May 29 (Hibya) – Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Rustem Emomali, the Speaker of the Upper House of the Tajik Parliament (National Assembly) and the Mayor of Dushanbe.

Chairwoman of the Federation Council of Russia, Valentina Matviyenko, also attended the meeting. It was reported that the discussion focused on inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries, regional cooperation, and strengthening ties between Dushanbe and Moscow.
