President Sandu met with Prime Minister Spajic in Podgorica.

Sandu stated that they discussed the economic transformation brought by EU accession, saying: "More opportunities, stronger institutions, and better lives for our citizens. Moldova and Montenegro are moving forward with determination."

Meeting with Speaker of the Parliament Andrija Mandic on the importance of unity around the strategic goal of EU membership, Sandu said: "We agree that strong democratic institutions and political consensus are the key to achieving the European future our citizens — both in Moldova and in Montenegro — deserve."
