Lahbib: The Sudan crisis is often forgotten
Brussels, April 7 (Hibya) – European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, pointed out that the Sudan crisis is often forgotten.
Hadja Lahbib stated that the Sudan crisis is frequently overlooked, saying: “In the Adré region of Chad, right at the border, nearly 1 million refugees have fled violence. Basic services are scarce, but humanitarian workers are doing their best.”
She emphasized that the European Union remains a predictable donor: “We continue to support the most vulnerable and engage with them.”
