UNRWA: Since March 2, 2025, no humanitarian aid has entered the Gaza Strip
New York, April 17 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) shared the latest updates regarding Gaza.
UNRWA reported that since Israeli authorities began enforcing the blockade on March 2, 2025, no humanitarian aid or supplies have entered the Gaza Strip. The agency noted that this blockade has lasted three times longer than the one imposed when the war began in October 2023.
The UNRWA statement said: “Between March 18 and April 14, the Israeli military issued at least 20 evacuation orders. As a result, approximately 69% of the Gaza Strip is under active evacuation orders, in a 'no-go zone', or both. The United Nations estimates that since the collapse of the ceasefire, around 420,000 people have been displaced again.”
