The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemned Israel’s military attack on Qatar and its attempt to assassinate Palestinian leaders.

Offering condolences to the families of the numerous Palestinian and Qatari citizens martyred during the attack, the Ministry stressed that this terrorist act, which clearly violates the principles of the UN Charter and the fundamental rules of international law, constitutes an act of aggression against Qatar’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. It was emphasized that the regime, while committing genocide and massacres in the occupied Palestinian territories, is expanding the scope of its aggression to the entire region, thereby posing an unprecedented threat to regional and global peace and stability and clearly demonstrating its dangerous and terrorist nature.

The Foreign Ministry, expressing solidarity and support for the Government and people of Qatar in the face of Israeli aggression, stated that the UN Security Council, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and other relevant international organizations should pay attention to this act of aggression.
