Jerusalem, May 11 (Hibya) - An Israeli Air Force helicopter was forced to land due to a technical malfunction during a casualty evacuation operation in southern Lebanon. The evacuation continued with another helicopter, while the aircraft was quickly repaired and safely took off again.
According to a statement by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), a technical malfunction occurred in an Israeli Air Force helicopter during a casualty evacuation operation carried out in southern Lebanon.
The statement noted that the helicopter was forced to land in the operational area, but emphasized that the incident was not caused by enemy fire.
The evacuation of the injured continued with another helicopter dispatched to the area shortly afterward. During this process, technical teams affiliated with the air force repaired the malfunction, and the helicopter safely took off again.
Officials stated that the operation was completed without interruption and that no security risk occurred.
