Grandi: Don’t reduce your support for the victims of the war in Sudan!
Geneva, April 9 (Hibya) – UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi made a call regarding Sudan.
Filippo Grandi reminded that most of the refugees fleeing the violence caused by the warring army in Sudan are women and children.
In his statement, Grandi said: "Due to aid cuts, we are giving them less food, shelter, water, and medicine. I appeal to donors on the Chad/Sudan border: Please do not reduce your support for the victims of the war in Sudan!"
