UNRWA: Time is running out to prevent famine in Gaza
New York, May 29 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) stated that after nearly 12 weeks of blockade by Israeli authorities, only a limited amount of aid has reached Gaza.

The assessment noted that the incoming aid is far from meeting the large-scale humanitarian needs of the population. UNRWA stressed the urgent need for unrestricted access for all humanitarian organizations operating in Gaza, including itself.
The statement also warned that time is rapidly running out to prevent famine.
