Pakistani Prime Minister Sharif published a message on his social media account on the occasion of Mawlid.

Sharif said in his message, “On the blessed occasion of Mawlid al-Nabi, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the people of Pakistan and the entire Muslim Ummah.”

Sharif stated that the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad are a source of guidance for all humanity, adding that these teachings lead people toward compassion, justice, tolerance, unity and service to others.

Sharif said, “Together, let us pledge to illuminate our character and collective conduct with the light of Seerat-un-Nabi and work together for a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan.” He concluded his message with the words, “Mawlid al-Nabi Mubarak.”
