Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoff met with young people within the framework of the Arnhem-Oost Academy’s Citizenship Program. The program’s aim was reported as expanding opportunities for students and teaching them how to remove social barriers.

During the program, the Palace of Justice, the Town Hall, and the newspaper “De Gelderlander” were visited.

On the occasion of the program’s conclusion, Prime Minister Schoff hosted the students this morning at Catshuis, where they discussed their experiences and future contributions. Participation certificates were also presented to the students.

Schoff also evaluated in The Hague the issues that can be learned from and carried out with young people.

This morning, Schoff also met with Utrecht Mayor Sharon Dijksma to discuss cooperation between the national government and municipalities, as well as youth care.

He emphasized that thanks to the implementation of agreements reached last spring, the financial situation of municipalities has improved, and the balance between goals, tasks, resources, and implementation capacity will be maintained.
