Saar: Sanchez is adopting a provocative stance against Israel
Jerusalem, March 30 (Hibya) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar criticized Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez’s stance on the incidents at the UNIFIL base, stating that he is adopting a one-sided and provocative position against Israel.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar made a statement regarding developments at the UNIFIL base and the conflict environment in the region.
Criticizing Sanchez’s diplomatic stance, Saar said: “Sanchez is adopting a one-sided and provocative stance against Israel. He proves that he is the preferred ally of Iran’s criminal regime and its terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah.”
Drawing attention to the attacks in the region and Hezbollah’s actions, Saar said: “Hezbollah attacked Israel without provocation on March 2, and since then has launched more than 5,000 missiles, rockets, and unmanned aerial vehicles at Israeli civilians.”
Saar argued that this direction in foreign policy is supported by terrorist groups, stating: “It is no surprise that they applaud him.”
