Rubio: The path to nuclear weapons must be completely blocked
Washington, April 28 (Hibya) – U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized that any potential agreement with Iran must completely halt Tehran’s progress toward nuclear weapons capability.
Rubio made statements regarding possible diplomatic processes with Iran.
Rubio stated that any agreement reached must “definitively block at every stage” Iran’s progress toward acquiring nuclear weapons.
The statement underlined that Washington’s primary priority is to completely prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons capability, adding that any potential agreements must be designed to guarantee this objective.
