Albares meets with Dominican Republic Foreign Minister Alvarez
Madrid, April 28 (Hibya) – Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares described relations with the Dominican Republic as those of “brother countries” and discussed migrant contributions, economic cooperation, and the Ibero-American Summit agenda.
Albares stated that relations between the Dominican Republic and Spain are at the level of “brother countries.”
Albares noted that Dominicans living in Spain make significant contributions to the country’s economy and social development, adding that Spanish companies also play a role in the development of the Dominican Republic.
Minister Albares announced that he discussed bilateral relations and the Ibero-American Summit agenda during his meeting with Dominican Republic Foreign Minister Roberto Alvarez.
It was stated that economic cooperation, diplomatic relations, and strengthening coordination on regional platforms were among the key topics discussed.
